Buongiorno a tutti!

Cosa avete fatto nel fine settimana? Io questo weekend avevo bisogno di un po’ di shopping ristoratore per rilassarmi e staccare un po' la spina. Come compagno di spese avevo il mio fidanzato che, complice una Milano stranamente poco affollata, si è incredibilmente divertito a fare shopping con me. La missione era stata studiata nei minimi dettagli durante il tragitto in metropolitana: tappezzare ogni negozio da Cairoli a San Babila. Una missione impegnativa quanto piacevole che però ha messo a dura prova i miei polpacci. E' incredibile quante scale ci siano nei negozi. Credo lo facciano apposta: con tutta la fatica che fai per salire nei vari piani non puoi/vuoi uscire a mani vuote.

Durante una giornata tipo di shopping con i saldi, le mie spese si possono quasi sempre dividere in 3 categorie (e sabato non ha fatto eccezione):

1) Le Occasioni: quel capo che non compreresti mai a prezzo pieno perchè non ti serve, ma scontato diventa improvvisamente la cosa che vuoi di più al mondo.

2) Il necessario: quei capi basici di cui si ha sempre bisogno.

3) Lo sfizio: quell'accessorio strano, un po' sopra le righe che vorresti tanto ma hai paura di spendere troppo ed usarlo poco.

What did you do last weekend? I needed a break ‘cause I was so tired so I went shopping  with my boyfriend that, thanks to a surprisingly uncrowded Milan, he incredibly had fun. The mission had been studied in details on the subway: shop in every store from Cairoli to San Babila.

It 'amazing how many stairs there are in stores. I think they do it on purpose, with all the effort you put going up stairs you won’t went out empty-handed.

During a typical day of sales - shopping, my purchases can almost always be divided into 3 categories:

1) Occasion: the article who you’ll never buy at full price because you don’t need it, but suddenly becomes the thing you want most in the world.

2) The need: those basic items that you always need.

3) The whim: that strange accessory, a little 'over the top, you would like to buy but you are afraid to use it not much and isn’t so cheap.

Vediamoli approfonditamente ...


1) Le Occasioni:

La scena di follia più eclatante che ha fatto morire dal ridere il mio lui era degna di una vera malata di shopping. Appena ho visto lo sconto del 77% su un cappotto color cammello di Benetton, non ho capito più nulla. L’ho afferrato come se fosse stato la mia ancora di salvezza. Quando abbasso lo sguardo invece vedo loro, un paio di morbidissimi guanti di lana misto angora color Senape che troneggiavano lì accanto. E' stato quasi un riflesso incondizionato, un istinto naturale afferrarli, sovrapporli al cappotto e mostrare l'abbinamento al mio fidanzato, divertito dal mio sorriso compiaciuto stampato sulle labbra.

Let's see in detail ...

1) The Occasion: The most striking scene of madness that made my boyfriend hilarious it was a classic shopaholic scene. As soon as I saw the 77% discount on a camel coat of Benetton, I went crazy. I grabbed it as if it were my lifeline. But when I look down I see them, a pair  of soft angora wool mustard gloves. It 'was almost a reflex, a natural instinct to grab them, stack them on the coat and show the match to my boyfriend that laugh of my amused smirk on my lips.

2) Il necessario:

Da Terranova invece ho trovato la mia scorta annuale di camicie bianche … Le indispensabili lunghe a body da mettere dentro i pantaloni e quelle dalle maniche corte con collo alla coreana per la futura primavera/estate. Il mio lui era quasi incredulo, gli pareva inconcepibile comprare tutte quelle camicie bianche … così ho provato a spiegargli che nonostante le mode passino, di 3 capi una donna non ne ha mai abbastanza: scarpe, tubini neri e camicie bianche. Non possono mai mancare nel nostro armadio e appena si trovano gli sconti se ne deve comprare un tir intero. 

2) The need: @ Terranova I found my stock of white shirts ... The essential body shirts to put in the trousers and those with short sleeves with korean collar for the next spring / summer. My boy was astonished ‘cause I bought lots of white shirts... and he didn’t understand. So I tried to explain that despite fashion pass, three things a woman does not get enough: shoes, black dresses and white shirts.

3) Lo sfizio:

Lo sfizio nello shopping è la ciliegina sulla torta che ti fa vedere tutto ancora più rosa … come la borsa con gli inserti in pelliccia presa da Nadine. Era da un po’ che la cercavo, ma essendo molto particolare non volevo spenderci troppo. Lo sconto del 70% mi ha tolto ogni dubbio e devo dire che mi piace tantissimo.

3) The whim: The whim when shopping is the cherry on the cake that makes you see everything in pink … as the bag with fur details by Nadine. It was a little over the top,  but the discount of 70% has taken away any doubt and I bought it… I like it very much.
